Getting Ready at The Hythe for Vail Wedding Day
In late spring the Vail mountains are warming up. The view from the Hythe hotel showcases the deep greens on the slopes. The Hythe is a perfect spot for getting ready in Vail, as it’s central location and close proximity to the mountains makes it a luxury yet laid-back stay. Prior to this couple’s wedding day we had talked about taking the morning slow. They wanted time to spend with their loved ones, and most importantly the focus on having an easy-going time. When I showed up at the hotel, I loved having the ability to take a creative approach to their day. I focused on the energy and little moments with them in addition to the details. They were able to enjoy time on their balconies as they got ready in separate rooms.
Weddings at the Vail Nordic Center
Over at the Vail Nordic Center, guests were shuttled over to the island. The ceremony spot looks down the Vail valley for the ceremony. Guests who came in from all over the country enjoyed taking in the mountain views from this spot. Following the ceremony, the Nordic center patio made the perfect spot for everyone to mingle, soak in the sun, and enjoy cocktails.
Following that, the reception hall opened up, and beautifully scaped tables greeted guests in for dinner. The vibe was so perfect, as the curated event allowed guests to really take in this location. The day full of good live music and a celebratory feel.
